To control and operate the media facade, ag4 developed the program IMPP (Interactive Media Pool Platform), which makes it possible to control the speed of images and to create transitions between them. This enables a procedural structure for the media content display that can interact with exogenous events.

For the media facade of the PSD Bank, an individual operating solution was created that combines the various images with each other. An important parameter here was the speed of the images and how often they change.

To control this frequency, the system watches market fluctuations within a set time frame. Marked fluctuations are displayed on the facade through an accelerated change of images – and likewise a slower change of images reflects calmer market movements. Depending on the time of day, the system watches the German, American or Japanese markets.

The PSD Bank thereby illustrates not only its regional involvement and commitment – experienced through the images of Münster and the region – but that it is also anchored in the global banking business.
